About R.C.A.
The R.C.A. Insurance Group has provided a property & casualty market for the food and beverage industry since 1981 when it was formed in the State of New Jersey. The R.C.A. program is underwritten by admitted and non-admitted A rated A.M. Best carriers. Licensed independent brokers in most states are welcome to submit applications. The program is designed for most businesses in the food & beverage class of the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, we will not offer policies to nightclubs or bars where entertainment is their primary format.
Insuring restaurants, taverns and all retail food and beverage establishments is our only business. We have learned from experience to provide the very best insurance package to effectively cover all the risks that the business owner requires to safely protect their business and assets. All essential coverages necessary to protect the hospitality owner are packaged into a CPP policy form. In addition, we offer an enhancement endorsement that features additional insurance for food spoilage, mechanical breakdown, money & securities, outdoor signs, glass, backup of sewers & drains, electronic data processing equipment breakdown, to name a few off the long list of enhancements. We do not offer a BOP policy or Workers’ Comp policy.
Since the inception of R.C.A. in 1981, there has never been a period that we did not have a market for you the agent to offer your hospitality client.

Underwriting
The R.C.A. Underwriting Department will make every effort to accommodate broker requests. We require submissions on the R.C.A. Application. Our normal turn around on submissions is two days in house. Quotes will be faxed to the broker's office upon completion. Follow up phone calls on submissions should be directed to the underwriting department. Our application is available for downloading from this site for your convenience. The application requires information that if answered completely, will expedite our turn around. Binding property coverage on any account cannot occur without the insured furnishing social security numbers and DOB's for shareholders.
The program offers policies for: Restaurants, Taverns, Bars, Sports Bars, Cigar Bars, Espresso Bars, Cafe's, Catering Establishments, Deli's, BYOB Restaurants, Pizza Parlors, Oriental Restaurants and Civic/Social Clubs. The R.C.A. Insurance Group through their wholly owned subsidiary, Risk Control Associates, operates as the TPA for all your claim servicing. As the agent, you have the convenience that all your policy functions will be handled by a single entity. As a company we know that every claim will be handled properly and expeditiously.
